Welcome autumn with the arrival of the real Castanyera of El Petit Refugi — the traditional Catalan chestnut seller, who respects animals and loves being out in nature. Join us for an unforgettable morning at the refuge in the company of Kitty, Kika, Pepa, Nina, Foc, Leo and the whole miniature donkey herd.

  • Walk through the natural surroundings with an autumn treasure hunt.
  • Interaction with our animals.
  • Includes the creative workshop “My little castanyera donkey”.
  • Roast chestnut and panellets tasting.
  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • 31 October and 1 November (limited places).
  • From €15 per person for bookings of 10 people.

Every participant builds their own miniature donkey out of chestnuts, twigs and a little imagination, and takes it home as a keepsake of the visit.
